"This is to inform you that the remains of your loved one have been permanently in interred"

another report of burial to show how much death there way

This is a formal letter informing of a man’s death. It shows us just how many people died during D-day due to the way it’s written; it does not state the deceased person’s name anywhere is the three paragraphs and the tone of the letter is very distant. So many people died that they could not be bothered to personalise the letters.

This is the front of a newspaper. It shows us how the people would have been told about d-day.

This is a letter written to a couple who have moved away (presumably they were Jews who were taken). The writer is explaining that all of their things are being put away and donated and this shows us that although the Jews were discriminated, they still had friends who would help them out.

"P.S  YOU MAY RECOGNIZE THIS IS YOUR PAPER. THOUGHT I WOULD HELP MYSELF"
